Keyspace Events as Streams?

The Keyspace Notifications docs mentions being built on top of the Pub/Sub layer, and all the limitations for reliable delivery that entails.

With Streams available now, does it make sense to re-implement Keyspace Notifications as a Stream? That way, if a client connects after a number of changes to various keys have occurred, they can pick up where they left off in the stream and immediately bring all their relevant records up to date with the current dataset. This would be a huge help for sync situations and complement the active/active or master/master patterns well as the other clients can track replicated changes as well if needed.
